If you are in the North Jersey/New York/Connecticut (and even Pennsylvania) area put an X on April 6th, 2009. That is when the 7th annual Linux on Wall Street event takes place. This year it has the "High Performance" tag in case you thought the show was about desktop applications.

The show is free, but you have to pay to see the talks. Yours truly will be there wondering around and looking for free wifi. In the past some of the local user group regulars have met in the lounge at the Roosevelt after the show to talk about Life the Universe and Everything. I am working on getting the New York/North Jersey Area HUG restarted (High Performance User Group).
